This Tuesday after 3 weeks went back to university after the easter break. Today was deadline for writing a 500 words statement what you want to discuss in your 2000 words essay (deadline 31th of may). So I was thinking about finding explanations for the predjudises between the Natives (Maori) and the Whites and to proof that racism still exist, even here on the end of the world. The dream of the paradies is just a dream, nothingelse…I had made that experiences myself…
After the lecture I went straight to the libary and copy lots of books. Finally bought three books:
Two from the famous New Zealand historican Michael King (he was killed in 2004):
“History of New Zealand”; “Being Pakeha now”
Then bought a nice book with wonderful pictures and photos about the wildlife in New Zealand:
